Thank fuck we have our manager. Saying all the right things. No wonder he’s won so many trophies. In effect this is a cup final, his record in such is what? I defeat in 20 odd? Blokes a genius, he’ll see us over the line. Even if it’s the 89th minute he’ll be preaching the same approach. No panic.

So was I, I think you are referring to the Spurs away Champs League game, I couldn't believe that either.

If only both had come on for 20+ mins, we may have scored an away goal, they were that effective for the short time they were on.
I guess we are supposed to get behind Pep's reasoning there for the sake of the big picture as he has been mostly brilliant. But we all know that was a ghastly mistake not bringing them on earlier and/or playing for away goals from the start.

that won't happen today, he'll get it spot on.

If KDB is 100% ready, if he himself knows he is fit and so do the medics, then he must play. He is a game changer. Top trumps!

Anyway, to take my mind off things I'm cooking roasted broccoli with a cheese sauce.
to take my mind off the game my wife asked me to help make dinner and I burned the fken salad!

Yeah, I thought De Bruyne might start but think that’s unlikely now.

Got a nagging feeling Jesus will start on left.

Sane will not start this game, he's great coming on later, why would
pep change that now?
although he hasn't started much either, i would love to see Jesus start if KDB can't go, he's miles better than foden, delph, and mahrez. even defensively,(he's remarkably conscious of that if you hadn't noticed) which we won't need anyway with our possession.
it might not seem like it but he has something like 27 goals in 65 PL games total, and 5 goals in 5 LC games this season for us at 22 yrs.old
he is very good, a Brazilian international, wait til he gets a little older and more minutes, he will be our go to striker very soon when sergio winds down, and will be a blue legend if we can keep him for the long haul.
he is the perfect player for this kind of game.

Hope not, sane is the one who whips in some great crosses and makes things happen,he won't need to defend a lot so start him

sane won't start, always starts slowly, and usually has a mediocre game, Pep won't change bringing him on later where he has been awesome.

if KDB cant go, jesus is by far the best option in this game where our possession will be massive. he has 27 goals in 65 PL games total for us with limited minutes, and 5 goals in 5 games in the LC this year, at 22 yrs old. don't forget how good he really is.

For the umpteenth time, I've just watched the 93:20 doc The Players on youtube. It's a wonderful tonic at this point.

Do it again for us, Kun!

It’s just sent shivers through me for the umpteenth time.....

Unparalleled and will never be beaten in terms of the drama, it simply is Hollywood on a football field...

Come on cityyyyyy

Daughters boyfriend is a season ticket holder at Anfield, just sent me a good luck message for tomorrow, how it should be,respecting each others efforts at the end of an incredible season.

it was sarcasm and reverse psychology. He's dipping your emotions!
Joking of course.
sounds like you might have years of er...um...fun discussions around the Holiday dinner table coming up.
cheers man

Hopefully KDB has an hour in him. With him in the side I feel so much better about us potentially being 2 or 3 up quite early on and it being a celebratory game rather than a nervous one.
Crazy how we're on 95pts after 37 games without the world's best midfielder for almost all of the season. A testament to Pep and his teammates.
