I’ve thought about it again and…it still is. Quite reasonable points. If you disagree feel free to elaborate I may actually agree. I was really thinking in terms of the whole match turning in our favour when I posted, not just a scoring sub, but even those are like hen's teeth.

He has been a major liability this season. So many suicidal balls across letting opp in over and over. Defending 1v1's/ last man blocks always seems 2nd best against way too many wingers. Not been helped with endless problems who is playing alongside him so like Pep gets a pass this seasonTheir free kick yesterday seemed to happen in slow motion.
Ball gets hoofed down the pitch and gvardiol chests it and was too slow to get it away.
He has to be quicker in his decision making.

Watched the second half and it was like watching us. Aimless football with no end product.After watching that Arse v Chelsea match, I don't think we are as bad as some on here think we are. Chelsea in particular are absolute shite!
Chelsea are appallingly overrated. Arsenal are pretty impotent. Brighton (my Brighton) are a better side than all but the most clued up commentators understand. Apparently we haven’t had one for 18 months and it shows. Another baffling decision from the club.As bad as Arsenal are and a dire watch at least they have a set piece coach who has ensured they can deliver a corner and score from it

Absolutely shite, more and more questions everytime I watch us
We are so far off a title winning team it's untrue, and this isn't something that the return of Rodri will just resolve
I'd say we are probably 4 or 5 top quality additions short of challenging for the league next season
A keeper
2 fullbacks
Central player with energy
A goalscoring winger
We're actually really depressing to watch these days, it's unrecognisable vs what we've seen in the last 8 years
Be stunned if we finish in the top 5

Been saying this for ages. How does a top tier professional club who play 2 fullbacks (cough cough) every week, not have any bona fide full backs on the books…. It’s verging on negligence!!No we don’t have any real fullbacks in my mind, Lewis is not good in that position neither is Nunes, Gvardiol is okej offensively but not in defence, its now you realize how important Walker with his speed was for us imagen if he could hit a decent play into the box he would have been the best fullback by far,
But that is a position that need strengthen same is the creativity in the midfield we need a new Bernardo and KDB, we been spoiled first we had David Silva and then KDB 2 very great players, we are nowhere near thier kapacity now, what do worries me is the wingers can't really se Doku And Savinho be the goal scoring and assist making wingers we need hope they prove me wrong. Guimares at Newcastle would be a good signing for our central midfield but think they did go for Nico instead. But who will replace Ederson?
The Creativity is non existent in Midfield, barring KDB who is sadly well past his best. The 2 wingers are verging on embarrassing. They should be 3rd/4th choice at best, we’ve really dropped the ball in the last 18 months or so in terms of squad/succession planning and recruitment both in and out. Can add issues at GK, and a lack of a back up Striker to Haaland to the above…
Viana has a huge job ahead, he cant fix all that in one window!!

It’s not Chelsea we should be worried about. It may seem odd but when we decided to go down the winger route we might have been better sighing Jared Bowen.A winger who could actually cross the ball would be a starter
He can score goals , track back and is a solid pro. Not the most exciting but he sure does a job
I’m not expecting the previous success to be repeated. I’ve always been philosophical about our time at the top. The point I was making is that we 3 or 4 players away from winning the league or progressing to latter stages of CL." Back where we" were we will never reach those heights in our lifetime!
Now reach the heights of competing for trophies leagues I would hope so, maybe a league title every 4/5/6 years maybe? Maybe if we are really lucky a trophy every 1/2 years?! Remember the Pelegrini era where he won the league then struggled not with the next manager after pep that could be us again!
Look at Liverpool rags Chelsea and Arsenal they've never had so many memories of record breaking seasons!
Just think Fans expectations need to drop drastically or we will be following all the other clubs in sacking managers continually!
My expectations for next season is top four hopefully a trophy and to compete as long as possible through the season! Now if some fans think we buy 3 quality players in the summer and expect to win the league or carry on as before then they'll be disappointed..
