jesus in midfield certainly did not work
I remember him giving it away about 3 times in 90 seconds. I can only imagine what Pep was screaming at him. Must do better.Jesus did the same 4 times in a row,had so much time and space to get by his defender ,but failed every single time.
We got 3 points for it, didn't we?What the f*** is Sterling doing taking a penalty?
You are over-the-top critical. Pep changed the system and Cancelo struggled, because Riyad was actually running his ass out. But Jesus on the left and Phil on the right was one of Pep's brain freezes. ZInchenko was excellent, he only made one wrong pass , but was working himself into ground and defended really well.Three points and a clean sheet, take it and move on.
Worrying though that some if those who had been playing really well tonight regressed to their previous form. Gundo, Zinchenko, Cancelo and even at times Stones looked shaky second half. Hope it was just a bad night.
Pep’s eternal battle with his inner smartarse led to some peculiar decisions, none more so than putting Jesus on the wing when the performance was crying out for a focal point up front
