Zinchenko was repeatedly caught out of position and exposed, then left lumbering back with the pace of a pensioner after a departed bus. Almost everything dangerous Brighton did originated down our left. He has played well recently but not tonight I’m afraid

Fair enough but all he has to do is say, I’m not up for taking anymore pens, seems inconceivable he would deliberately miss to make the same point?

Probably a bit of footballers arrogance and nervousness to say that to Pep.. I was probably a bit over the top and a bit extreme but it wouldn’t surprise me if there was a bit of him that could have done that. Three points and Brighton barely had a half chance in the game. But made things hard for ourselves.

Seem to be mad for shooting straight at the keeper this season. Aim it to either side of him lads, Foden did that and got a goal.

Could pay the price against a team with a bit more firepower

We are definitely on the same page regarding him taking pens mate, I said it felt like a loss tonight after the poor finishing including the pen and was told I was living in a parallel universe.. I’ve mellowed a bit now the blood pressure has come down a bit ...
