Brighton (h) post-match thread

The good news is Sterling will never ever be allowed to take a penalty again.
It would be even better news if we sold him - he was fortunate to play in a very good team 2 years ago and most of his goals were in 6 yard box - now he just fannys around with the ball when clean through - get decent fee for him and sign Haaland

From memory that was either off the underside of the bar or very close to that. When he doesn’t have to think he’s brilliant.. I still remember that goal he scored for the scousers at Anfield v us when he nipped in the box and put it past Hart without thinking.. a great asset to our team but give his pen slot to Ederson :)
Agree especially now he is low on confidence he should be nowhere near taking pens. His form will come back but maybe sitting out a couple more is needed. bit odd he was warming up after 10 mins.

I know what you mean. The disappointment of continuous shit finishing can override the joy of an earlier single goal.

But after watching the highlights you’ll feel better.
agree. Lescott did a brilliant job of reinstalling reality in the post match. Brighton had 1 shot on goal.

Quietly up to third with everyone banging on about the Rags, the Dippers and the Spuds.

Not to much attention to our clean sheets, our winning streak or our ability to just see games out.

I'm in a happy place
Just need the dippers to beat the scum and we move top with a win in the game in hand.

Darke not commentating it was Darren Fletcher

Doesnt matter who commentates they all sing from the same hymn sheet , Mc Pointy was begging for Brighton to put a decent corner in during the last few minutes , his disappointment when we cleared the corners were palpable , if i ever see a picture of him in a blue shirt i feel nauseous , f*cking money grabbing fraud.
