Brighton (h) post-match thread

Just seen this on the mUen ................

Questions raised over Manchester City's winning goal against Brighton

Apparently Dias made tackle to win the ball way back in the build up. The media will try everything they can to fuel the aggro towards City - never much about the rags regular fluky goals and penalties.

Why didn't the Brighton player get shown a second yellow for his deliberate check on KDB late in the game - yet another incompetent referee - and where is the media inquest into that incident.
Couldn't give a flying fuck about the MUEN chip paper as I wouldn't read it even if it was free, the online site is an even bigger no-no too.
The referee on the other hand was a damn sight better than some of the 'more experienced' whistling wankers out there.

I have no idea why he took that penalty.

Have watched it over ,and over again ,his posture is shocking.

It is not just a problem with penalties either.

He has consistently shown that if he has time to think about what he has to do next. Then he loses all composure.

No idea why this is.

He can make a great run get in to the Box, then "BOOM" brain Freeze, loses the Ball, dispossessed whilst thinking about what to do next. It happens a lot,9 out of every 10 runs come to nothing and start counter attacks.

Same thing happens if the Ball comes to him in the Box and he has to think about it.Often he panics and just lashes at it.

I wonder does he have problems with anxiety, that affects him.

He should just stick to being a winger.
On the right please.

If they played like that against most of the EPL they'd at least take a point
That's why BHA have ONLY got a point a game. Final third ball created two half chances and one squandered opportunity. I placed a bet BHA to win at 75/1.

BHA will get relegated if they don't get their shooting boots on. Never looked dangerous. Paced themselves for 100 minutes though.

yep quality missing up front and also from most of the bottom half in the league are in the same boat
but Brighton looked good going forward and had pace and will score goals facing teams around them

its tight at the bottom only sheff utd are in trouble that will be hard to escape from. so brighton have something to hold on to and play like they did last night they will be ok

Probably Cancelo too......or they all should be.
If Cancelo gives another ball away in midfield and throws up his arms...in disgust with himself, I hope...I’ll run on and pull him off the field myself!!!

Id love to see his giveaway stats compared to every other player!!

City have missed seven penalties in the Premier League since the start of last season, more than any other side. Three of these have been missed by Raheem Sterling.
Nuff said!
12 yards is too far out unless he’s cutting in from the left and the keepers left his far post wide open!

Rodri's been iffy for the last couple of games. Frightens me to death when he gets the ball in our third.
Usually plays it straight back to where if comes from... unless it comes from the keeper in which case it goes to his right. Very one dimensional.
Think pep has seen it aswell hence the urgency to get another central midfielder in .
