I think this is going to be a ding dong of a match. It could go either way. We are up against it but so are Brighton.

All I want to see is no drop off in intensity (I dont agree at all that we havent been intensive last few games) because that would really indicate a deeper problem with the squad feeling.

With the injuries we got we just have to manage it. And to those calling out our club for not making the right choices with player purchases so fkin what... Stop crying. The club cant get it right %100 of the time. They can do it for 99% though! You are literally moaning your knickers off at 1% wrong. Sounding like self entitled utd fans.

Without wanting to further derail the thread, this isn't correct.
We could have signed two players in summer for £100m each and still wouldnt be close to breaking PSR rules.

If the lack of action in the transfer market is for financial reasons, it will be because of the north standing extension.
Not effected by FFP/PSR thought is it? thought stadium development was an exception to the figures.

I'm going to my first game for ages. Can't wait. I doubt City became a bad side overnight as some would have me believe. Form is temporary....class is permanent. When City are at full strength and are having a good day then there are not many clubs who can beat us. Brighton are a good side and are a well run club but City are a world class set up and I would never bet against us taking home all 3 points. Brighton 1 - 3 City. Haaland 2, Bernardo.

and that loss at Sporting will have been a really sore point.
A new member here. Tottenham supporter. Here to learn about Man City thinking and ways. First time ever visiting a Man City forum. I generally like Guardiola. I think he is a great manager (duh), but I meant more as a bloke too. He seems like a decent character in his press conferences and seems to manage his players well. Not a lot of bullshit that I've heard coming out Man City dressing room, etc. So that that's just my general, outside impression.

I watched highlights of the loss to Sporting. I got the impression City got punished by some refereeing decisions. I thought some fouls were called that players might have gotten away with in the Premier League. That loss, perhaps, shouldn't have been as bad as it was or as it looked. But I didn't watch the game.

Really hope we try something different today. We can’t keep being as open defensively as we’ve been in recent weeks. Just hoping that it suddenly clicks with the same line-up/formation seems optimistic at best.

I am feeling good today , i think we can do it if pep has cracked the midfield problems , if he does the same i think we will struggle
