——————————-Donnaruma

——-—————-Haaland Marmoush

There were two lessons for me from the Spurs game: No Trafford, and no Cherki. Their performances were negatives.

——————————-Donnaruma
—————-Khusanov Stones Gvardiol
————————————Rodri
————Nunes Foden Reijnders Ait Nouri
——-—————-Haaland Marmoush
I can't see Ait-Nouri playing. He went off very dejectedly as if it was a significant injury.

---------------Trafford/Ederson
—————-Khusanov Stones Gvardiol
———Nico G ----Bernardo (Rodri aint fit to start)
———Nunes---Reijnders--- Foden-------Marmoush
——-—————-Haaland

Alt Nouri is out for 3 weeks

Marmoush needs to work better defensively
Khusonov has to start ...pace/physicality to cover for Nunes
rodri aint fit to start so let bernardo play deeper and push Reijnders further forward - his defensive discipline aint there at present anyway
Cherki was annonymous vs spurs so Foden deserves a go

2-1 or 3-1 to brighton this.

we'll probably "control" the game early on with loads of possession but no real threat. 1st or 2nd counter attack and we're 1 behind.
later they'll bag 2nd, we get one in from a header as that's all we are capable of creating these days and then they might get one more or not but we never really even look like equalising.

Trafford should be no where near the starting 11, weak hand for the first goal maybe slightly unsighted the second goal complete brain fart from him, play it wide to the full back not to a player straight i front of goal, who has an opposition player right up his arse
It's not what I want but what I think Pep will pick sadly.

Ederson

Stones Dias Gvardiol

Savinho Reijnders Rodri Gonzalez Doku

Marmoush Haaland

I'd do this for absolute shits and giggles lol. Honestly think we need to change how we setup 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 it's time for change. Won't be holding my breath though ha.

can see how it’ll go already, we have control, Brighton defend over the top ball goal. Same weakness as last season, only way we’ve tried to sort it is with the offside trap.

I'm not a Brighton insider at all, except maybe on the young German manager who left St.Pauli ;)
Would like to try this one to understand a bit more, if that's ok.
Let's collect some good bits of knowledge about opponents on here:

Brighton & Hove Albion:

1. characteristics of their game or current issues
2. strengths
3. weaknesses

Who can share some insight? Keep it short please.
Just what to keep in mind for our match preparation.

a reaction needed to the Spurs loss. in tactics, in intention, in pace, in fire in the belly, in defending, in attacking etc.
how you react to a loss is always a good indicator. put it right straightaway or fuck around and drop more points and then everyone fucks off for 2 weeks break...

Ederson
Khusanov Stones Gvardiol Ait Nouri
Rodri Reijnders
Savinho. Foden. Marmoush
Haaland

This is our best side, injuries notwithstanding. And on paper it looks good. But for me something's not there. And I think it's character. We used to have it in spades. Khus, Alt Nouri might get it soon enough but the front 4 as a unit look lightweight mentally and I include Haaland in that.

But for the weekend Sav is either injured or off so Bobb comes in.
Ait Nouri probably out so play Ake or shift Gvardiol and play Dias centrally.
