Bring Back Joe Hart

Please can you ask the staff what drugs they have you on ?, or admit your on a f*cking wind up because he could not get a game in net for the dog an duck on the displays we have seen.

It must be the same drugs as Pep and a lot of the footballing world are on. Defensively, we're a shambles at the minute and Bravo isn't covering himself in glory admittedly but will take a while for things to fall into place with what Pep is trying to do. Bravo will fit in better with that than Hart, I'm sure. It's possibly going to take a while though so the flappers should strap themselves in. It's high risk, high reward football and while we are learning, there are going to be some disasters.

Guardiola's football is definitely not high risk. You don't have the best defensive record in every season you've ever managed by being high risk. His obsession with positional play comes from wanting to minimise the risk of conceding, of being out of position, of not suffocating the opposition.

It's only being percieved as high risk becuase we are making mistakes while learning it. Once things settle down we will be boringly untroubled at the back.

Stop talking sense!

Cant wait!
It wont happen with current personnel. A couple of good defenders would make a world of difference. Our problem is we havent replaced Kompany who was a top defender and leader.

It's high risk unless you have the perfect players for the system which is pretty much what you're saying. I've seen some of the best teams in Europe come to city and take a lot of what I would consider risks playing the ball out from the back but they're so good, it's not an issue. It's not something that can just happen overnight and we will get caught out while learning.

Wouldn't it be better to just let the " Joe Hart was the best keeper in the world " squad have their say and then leave it ?

FFS it's like talking to a brick wall with some on here - Pep wanted a different goalkeeper to Joe Hart - which fucking bit of that don't you get ???

We have got a manager that many ( apart from the Rag-lite brigade who didn't want him anyway ) of our supporters were thrilled to get, and yet some want to tie his hands behind his back and pick their " favourite players " who apparently had no faults when at the club.

It is plain fucking stupidity imo - and yet post after post proclaiming that Joe would have been so much better - despite there being absolutely NO WAY TO PROVE IT !

The team is going through a rough patch collectively - attack / midfield and defence - not just Claudio Bravo who is now the subject of a fucking witch hunt by some.

ter Stegen is to Bravo what Stones is to Pique/Bonucci/good Ball Playing defender.

He's brilliant, and erratic. He takes more risks and gets more rewards, he's the unpolished version. He would have been a massive project and with the rest of the team in flux the way it is, I think we'd have been worse off.
So we got the polished version?

Well he wasn't in goal the last time we won anything. And the time before that, we only let in 2 goals less than 5th place Everton and won the title largely because we scored a hatful.

You really don't like Joe, do you?

There isn't a keeper that will keep the ball out of the net , playing behind these defenders. There are 6 players involved in keeping clean sheets Bravo is just one of them.

But there are some who would make a reasonable stab at making saves and actually pull some of them off.

Qualification: not high risk at two of the best clubs in the world with settled sides.
