Bring the Noise

That was the worst of, what is now, a number of really poor atmospheres at Wembley from us.

We didn’t sing more than half a dozen times as a collective yesterday. Most just stood there in total silence all game, didn’t even applaud good play or shout “come on”.

I’m buzzing that we won but genuinely a bit gutted with the atmosphere.

You should fucking cheer up a bit.

“most just stood there in total silence all game” - utter bollocks.

I was in 105 and people were giving it a good go. It’s hard for the whole end to sing in unison but it certainly happened more than 6 times.

We were never gonna be as excited as Villa, we were massive favourites and frankly it’s all a bit old hat to us now but we did our bit.

yep there was quite a few times our whole end was singing, but it’s difficult at Wembley to get that to happen, unless it’s songs everyone knows.

villa fans sang Allez Allez about twenty times and villa, villa. That’s pretty much all I heard. Other then that I didn’t think they were anything special. Sunderland fans were much louder

The loudest I’ve heard Wembley was us in the rags semi

Villa were really loud 2-3 times towards the end of the game and on a handful of occasions but nothing like Sunderland.

I thought our support was good. Nothing amazing but it was a good day. Enjoyed the anticipation and the relaxing trip back. It was long, and expensive but we were there to see City lift the Cup and to see Foden take another step in his City career.

You were relaxed due to the good weather I assume Marvin?

yes gorgeous trip back....Counting LED blinding brake lights

I was in 221 (at the side) and looking down on level 1 I could see fans clapping and obviously singing but nothing was reaching my ears. I think it acoustics of the stadium to be honest. Also why do they have to play fecking music of the speakers. Given the chance 20 minutes before game I am very sure we could have sorted out a great atmosphere.

The noise mustn’t travel well then. From up in the gods our end seemed dead.
