Bring the Noise

Would say my many visits to anfield, goodison and swamp has seen an atmosphere similar or quieter to ours

I find Goodison quite intimidating, they hate us with a passion, they are the most bitter club in the land. Klanfield only sing when the players come out and in injury time if they're winning. I find that place quieter than the swamp.

Arsenal in my opinion. But also the best club ground in terms of facilities and comfort, modern football I guess.
Totally down to expectations.

Usually most home games, City fans are chilled and totally relaxed. When a game matters, Etihad and Emirates stadia are noisy. All I heard at St Mary's on the tele was City even though Southampton were facing relegation.

What is the first quietest?

Dippers when the TV cameras arent there , no atmopshere at all , went to the Dipper v Plymouth cup game in 2017 , corporate do , and the Plymouth fans embarrassed the Kopite gobshites out sang them all the game , and they were chanting "shall we sing a song for you" Anfield is one of the biggest myths out there , they are quiet as a mouse for 90% for most of their games

Fuck off. I'm sitting down, and I'll be bringing a flask of cocoa for during the match (and half time), along with corned beef sarnies. No fucker better be stood up in front of me either, I don't pay for a seat only to stand up because some fuck-nugget neanderthal hasn't learned to sit down. All this singing is shite as well, how the fuck is the ref to hear my comments if every cünt is singing about some fucking invisible bloke, or that other shite about an additional full moon that appears in a subdivision of a year.

Bollocks to all that shite.

Don’t forget to bring your tartan rug to put on your lap.

Yep. Annoys the fuck out of me how there is this weird circle jerk between sky, bt and the dippers.

My dipper acquaintance can’t answer when I ask them why, if the Klanfield atmosphere is great, Klopp has to gee them up all the time.

They will be shitting it, don't worry about that.

As good as that team sometimes look they are still the same team that has won nothing, is desperate to be relevant and will have the old confidence problem if we can just get into them and play anywhere near our best. All thing being equal, we are far superior so give us a fair ref and no bad luck then its ours to take and get the title push back on track.
Come on.
"Desperate to be relevant"...brilliant..i,m having that ; )

Enjoying a lovely sunny break in Nerja at the moment so will be watching a TV on Thursday night.

Back in 2014 when we went head to head I believed things were a little bit different between the two clubs as our joint hatred of the scum was a common bond.
In the build up to the April game I was quite vocal at the time to play down any rag like hatred and my post even made it on to a Liverpool forum ( get me ).

How the times have changed and we once again stand in their way . As a 53 year old blue I am caught between wanting to treat this game as just another very big occasion in our amazing evolution and wanting to give these scouse twats a large dose of their very own “ special “ atmosphere .
The margins at the top , as we know , are very small and the “ let’s turn a blind eye “ treatment shown by the decent folk of dipper land to last seasons ECL games makes me crave revenge. We could literally could kick the fuck out of them off the pitch in a bid to gain a similar advantage.

However, it is not our way and never will be.
We are far better and classier than that.

Really wish I was there on Thursday. Liverpool are an excellent side but we owe them , big time.

Come on City.

For the entirety of the first half of the QF last year the Scouse shat themselves. After Jesus’ goal, they were in a state of panic that I haven’t seen from them in ages. The crowd contributed to that massively. Need an atmosphere before the kick off and throughout the whole game. We just can’t drop our heads if they score.

Allez, Allez, Allez! It's their chant, didn't you know? Not that it's been sung across Spain and Europe for years. :-?

I'm so psyched up for this game! I can't remember feeling so determined to play my part!

Sick to the back teeth of hearing how wonderful Liverpool and their fans are. They sing 'You'll never walk alone' but Karius was very much on his own after the Champions league final. And when we beat them in the League Cup final recently their side of Wembley was empty when they went up for their losers medals.

I don't just want us to win, I want us to give them a lesson!

I went to a game years ago, some UEFA cup game(Think Hamburg) and these 2 guys shouted in the queue to come on lads crank it up tonight, then proceeded to sing "My father took me to Maine Road", etc,etc which killed any chance of everyone joining in.
The atmosphere will be what it will be but expect it to be good.
