Sore throat, sore body, sore head
Totally worth it.
Totally worth it.
My eleven-year-old lad said to me with five minutes to go, "Dad my throat hurts, I can't speak, have I not drunk enough water?"
I said, "Son, no, that's what happens when we all support the team."
Two very sore throats today. My lad enjoys going every week going with me, but last night was the first time I felt he was swept up by it all and I didn't need to tell him to concentrate or watch the game, haha!
For me, it was better than Hamburg and certainly on a par with that game against United.
Say what you want about standing sections and stuff, it's always about the needle and just wanting it that much more.
Great atmosphere especially up in ssl3.
Half the Row ended up on top of me when Sane scored so a little sore today.
Bad head also!
Middle of 317?
That was funny, quite a few went down in rows down there jumping all other each other. Couple of empty seats round there after half-time as well, think the aggression of our support got rid of a few scouse bastards. Banging atmosphere tonight all round, give it to them all night.
i'm also middle of 117 (well, row N, if that counts as middle) and it was brilliant last night. complete chaos when we scored, especially the 2ndMiddle of 317?

an abiding memory of the night will always be my mate rob not able to get up and jump about when sane scored as he had two lads already lying across him in the carnage. he was just sat there with a big shit eating grin on his face. brilliant stuffTwo of us up in row S with my brother the row behind. Don’t think we’ve seen a celebration as nuts as that for a while, made the night even better.
I'm over in 314 row EE and it was immense, especially when the second went in. Mass exodus to the away fans. Virtually the entire block taking up the space of two seats. Quality.I was on row z last night in 315 it was brilliant, had a spare ticket so went up there but sc is in 235 so think I’ll be relocating to south level 3 next season, possibly further down row r, s etc
I'm in 114 and I could hear you posh ones chantingIt was really good last night, I was in CB3 and twirling my car rug around like billyoh, I even knocked my flask over it was such fun. I did gets some strange looks from people when I said quite loudly 'oh Bravo young Sane, well done', I don't think they are used to people getting excited up there.
Anyone else feel absolutely worn out after last night? I don't know if it was the increased singing, the added importance of the game or that I couldn't sleep because I was buzzing after the game but I feel shattered.
Bring back winning the league at a canter!
