Vital again that we as fans are up for it from the first whistle tonight and make the Etihad as intimidating for Wolves as possible. Last Thursday was a watershed moment in that stadium, we all know just what we're capable of now and there should be no excuses for the rest of the season.

Imagine how it'd feel to get that win over Liverpool only to throw points away again tonight? Wolves are a very good team as we've seen many times this season and the game won't be easy, so the boys will be counting on our support again to get them across the line.

17 cup finals in the league coming and it starts tonight, everyone has their part to play so BRING THE NOISE

Not saying it is the answer but we are really poor at singing about our players

We some of the best players in our history and only have 5 original songs for players vinny, silva, sergio, sane and edison

We have a song for Laporte that never gets sung, and the Hes big hes from Barnsley and hes number 5 just never gets going for Stones either.

Totally agree we need new songs for players though and it would be class if we could do it to a tune thats not already done to death by us and other clubs.

The laporte one is as you say never heard and the stones one I have sung but I belive the fact itnis nameless lends to it being ignored ny some.

Ideally original songs would be best but unfortunately unless it is picked up by certain groups or singers it doesn't get a look in.
The untertones de bruyne one comes to mind some lads started other year at everton away and was heard sung in fringe bar a couple of times.

Or the delph one to 'touch myself' never hear it sung

It's not players we need new songs about, it's MANCHESTER CITY FC.

Our lack of new City songs is mad, not made a new song up about City since the '90s!
 
Got to be a big noise tonight but i do worry that 75% of our crowd have had their one big atmosphere of the season and it'll be back to sitting in silence all game again for most.

Hopefully the ref doesn't give us a stonewall penalty in the first five minutes because when we have a bee in our bonnet about the ref the atmosphere is better! Then the noise pushes us on to a good win.

We pinched it off Crewe Alex haha

We suffer from exactly the same problem with fans thinking that all songs are there to see who can get to the end faster than everyone else.

Yeah but in reality no club has new songs about them, most teams have established chants mainly from 70s-90s and then songs about players that come and go.

As mentioned if peopl indeed bothered we have some great songs about CITY just never sang.

Im 63 the blues went down etc

A few murmurs of these sporadically is all we hear, I would say the most sung song in the ground is Come on City! Come in City!

If we cannot get these present songs going consistently then a new one is hardly gonna matter

I don’t think we had a billion in the bank when Swales was in charge, if we did he probably lied about it.

I remember we had a song to the banana splits tra la la about kicking rags that then went more family friendly

And i have a avague memory of us singing just city repeatedly to amazing grace
