Bring the Noise

It would help if everyone who wanted to Bring the noise was able to stand in the same place at the same time. You know, like we used to do in The Kippax. I despair at the missed opportunity the North Stand could turn into. Hope I'm wrong.
Imagine if the club had the balls to introduce unreserved seating in the North Stand. But they’ve no interest in creating an atmosphere in the ground.

Correct. The issue of establishing a home end/new Kippax (call it what you want) has never been addressed since we moved. Never. Standing either side of the away fans is pony. I'm 60 and it still winds me up. There's a whole generation that's grown up not experiencing a proper atmosphere. Why haven't we, as a fan base, mobilised and campaigned? Seriously? Maybe no one's arsed anymore, lol.

I wouldn't mind but 1894 sing the most cringing songs & very rarely introduce any truly atmospheric MANCUNIAN song or chants.

Imo....we need to adopt "Don't look back in anger" as OUR song.

It's lyrics are easy, it's rhythmic and atmospheric, it's by Manchesters most famous group and commemorates the arena bombing.

1894 should be introdcing /singing atmospheric song rather than "empty seats" City's going down" " Edin Dzeko"

Every City fan must do their duty tomorrow !!
I agree on don’t look back in anger. It would be great if the club played it at the end of a match.

I'm arsed and I'm 73 youth !!

I'm happy to get the pitch forks out for an organised, professional campaign.

Shifting the away fans down to the shit seats around the corner flag and making SS 2 & 3 all City would be a start.

Organising the two central blocks of the '93.20' stand for singers would also be a 'start as you mean to go on' decision.

Simple low cost/no cost decisions that would create something most City fans have been wanting for 20 + years.

Shout yer bollocks orf this afternoon !!

Don't be kind call it out for what it is, absolutely shite
Yeah, the atmosphere has died a long, slow, and painful death at the Etihad.

Thank fuck United didn't score first and City did, otherwise the Etihad would have been like a morgue.

1st half.

Apart from after the goal, the atmosphere has been.pretty poor, and that's being kind.
It was a very sombre feel to everything before the game and up to our first goal to be honest.

The first thing and main thing everyone I spoke to today talked about, was Ricky Hatton. The Manchester derby, which usually would mean everything on the day of the game, felt secondary.

The first goal lifted the mood of the crowd a bit. But it still felt like everyone was quite a sad time to be honest.

The two goals in the second half really gave the crowd a proper buzz and that carried on through the second half. But no complaints about the atmosphere today, it was a sad day.

Atmosphere in North Stand was decent.
Poznan was a great p… take.
Tribute to Ricky was absolutely amazing, so touching and unbelievably emotional.
Don’t know about other areas but atmosphere today was definitely a plus point. In my block, all seemed to be regulars, no half and half’s and a real will to push the team on.
Up the blues.

The 2nd half definitely made up for the first half.

Seeing the Poznan go around the ground was great.

As for United, they were utter wank as usual at the Etihad.

Where they've got the reputation for being the best away support, I don't know.
