Bring the Noise

I'm right on yhe barrier with away fans in what is noe 014, Im not here to big up the rags away end but they usually show up as you'd expect for any derby and then we silence them. Completely different feeling to their following today. Day trippers central.
On TV, it was hilarious to see an 80% empty away end with plenty of time still to go and the cameras zoom in on what looked like an Asian day tripper wearing a United shirt with a half & half scarf on!

SS3 started the Poznan

Respect

Utd are shit but what a great result for Ricky
On TV, the U.S. commentary made mention of the Colin Bell Stand bouncing during the Poznan!

Also, it feels like there should be a “Poznan trigger” so everyone understands when it should come out.

I’m thinking a 3rd goal when it puts us at least 2 up on the opposition (3-0, 3-1) and ANY goal at Wembley!!!

Seemed a great atmosphere at times today

The early leavers when 3-0 up against the rags on a Sunday evening were the only negative. Half empty for team walking round at the end
Atmosphere was very decent in SS3 yesterday, really enjoyed sticking it to them, and it was loud.
The early leaver thing has been discussed to death, I think it's cultural at this stage, absolute habit for many people, no matter what happens on the pitch. But I couldn't believe the scale of departures yesterday, so so many not staying til the end to celebrate a spanking of United, it felt really weird, it was at best 1/4 full when the team took the "ovation" at the end. Maybe we're just too used of success. Not sure if other clubs are different, maybe Arsenal have the most similar vibe.
We had time, so hung out to let the crowd clear, then we saw the metrolink queues which were still about a half mile long. When walking to try and join the back of it, my 9yr old said "I can see why so many people leave early'.
But it feels like many many people would still go early, even if they had a personal Tram outside the gate at full time. Each to their own, do what you want. Looks shit though.

I have my own personal tram outside and i stayed till the end, so that's no excuse.

Whoever asked for the speakers to be turned off, good idea but don’t bother in future as if it wasn’t for the north stand / family stand pulling you out of the shit it would have been very embarrassing. Just my opinion from where I sit.

Great atmosphere at times yesterday 100%, only negative was the amount of tourists.. not got a problem with the individuals themselves, as they are all purchasing available tickets and having a great day out, but I'd love to know how there are so many tickets going to them? For example, there were around 20 seats on each of the first three rows near me (East Stand 109), with a huge group of Malaysian lads, around 60 or so. Are all of those seats just not season ticket holders? Is the club then just promoting them somewhere else or have all of those lads got the right memberships etc.? Baffles me, and the main reason it really annoys me is because it comes at the cost of long term City fans who can't afford it at £70 a ticket.

I prefer seeing people leave with a couple of minutes remaining when the game is won, to people going down for a half time pint on 38 minutes when the game is still tight.

I went after 2 minutes of the 4 added at the end of the game.

The reason plain and simply is that FUCKING awful METROLINK.

We should do it only when we’re comfortable so 5 or 6 nil for me!

Took me two hours to get home to Ashton. Refused to get on the rammed tram got to the bus stop thinking it won't be that long.......an hour waiting for a 216. Then stuck on Ashton New Road for God knows how long start stop plus bus stops.

I always walk to where I am going if possible specially when there are crowds of any kind, there again I am fortunate to still be able to not a lot of FOC's are.

Needs sorting.

Wont be sorted.

I made the mistake of committing to the bus and watched a near empty tram stop at Clayton Hall.

My days of running are long gone.
