I dunno some of the back play has been ordinary, ball skills in the NH aren't up to much compared to the SH & RL, tbf Halfpenny had a blinder and George North looks good, probably the only two lions who'd be able to play in the NRL.
Every time you open your mouth, you embarrass yourself.

Think I just have a broader knowledge of both codes than you to be honest.

Looks like the Kiwi coach is getting the blame,on a side note well done to the NRL for trying to get on top of the serious drug problems in the NRL.

Rugby union's perfect storm is ominous for NRL
Changes afoot in Aussie Rugby methinks.

The lure of the Olympics and big pay days may combine to lure more NRL players into a code switch
Didn't realize how bad the drugs problem was in the ARL,no wonder they were so good.

League was fine without SBW and would be fine without Benji. The NRL conveyor belt of talent is in good shape. Union has a smaller player base and no cap so inevitibly it'll entice the ones wanting a pay day and a rest ;-)

You're boorish trash talking of all things Union does little to disguise an obvious inferiority complex.

What, you disagree that the ball handling skills in the northern hemisphere aren't behind that of the Southern Hemisphere? You need to watch more rugby mate.

This weekend yes i would disagree, surely winning is the main thing though.
They keep on coming, another Brit wins, well done Andy.
I assume tennis is low on the Aussie radar? until someone starts winning again, obviously.

You know you have gotten to the Aussies when population comes into it! Fact is Australia has twice as many rugby players as Wales does and all week all the Aussies have been calling them the welsh lions. So which one is it?

Having been to origin, watched Manly for 10 years and watched live about 30 test matches in Union I can honestly say that Origin does not compare with a lions test or an international in Cardiff in terms of excitement, atmosphere or quality. That said it certainly does rate well compared to the average rugby championship or 6 nations game. League is a great game and I watch it a lot but at its best Union is just a more beautiful and entertaining game.

Having said that neither compare to City!

As for which is harder it depends how you Jude what is hard. I spoke to Jason Robinson recently who admitted before He went to Union he thought it was going to be easy but was completely taken aback by how technical, complicated and mentally challenging it was. league is a game for 13 big centres everyone has to do much the same stuff - union more nuanced and with more specialists

But all in all to say the Lions are way behind origin is simply not true. As for only north and halfpenny being good enough that isn't true plenty of others would be good enough with the right training. There isn't anyone in league who could go into union as anything other than a centre or wing either

Sean O Brien showed just how great he was in that back row. He tackled like a mad man and in the loose was a force. I was delighted he got a test start and prove to Gatland that he is 1 of the best flankers in the world.

O'brien's only problem is he is a 6.5 not really a complete 6 or a 7. He did great though and the backrow was great and much improved . I do think faletau , Tipuric/warburton and Lydiate will not peak for years and could be the best in the world in 2015

If any one is interested there are some great pics of the Lions on Wales on line. Sorry bet I can not do that copy paste or link stuff. Great one of Sam with the trophy in his Lions suite.
