I watched the first one and then watched the american version, Gracepoint. The yank version is nowhere near as good. although it has the same main bloke (only with a shitty american accent).

Yep and that's why they have cancelled the series

Yes, a routine police drama but one done in an especially portentous and pompous manner because it isn't just entertainment but 'dealing with issues'.

It's what the Coronation Street and Come Dancing watching classes regard as quality TV.

I thought it was just me. Couldnt remember who half the characters were. And one of the few that I thought I remembered turned out to have not been in the first series.

Watched the whole first season last night and tonight and I must say its incredible. Kept me guessing till episode 7 then I figured it out. Just watched season 2 episode 1 and it didn't disappoint at all

haha! tell me about it! Watched the first episode last night and spent half the time asking mrs lazza who the hell people were and why the hell they all hated each other. She didn't know either, so we spent 15 minutes reading the synopsis of the first series on Wikipedia!
