18 fatal housefires in New Jersey during 2020. That's three up since April. I'd say we could be looking at a close call at staying below last year's number at this rate.

We are now at 21 fatal house fires in New Jersey. An increase of 3 since my last check. It's fair to say that my last reading was a half year check and to be at 21 now would hopefully suggest the NJFD can stay below last year's total of 46.

2020 ended with 34 reported housefire fatalities in NJ state. A drop on the previous year and we could argue that this was down to the presence of Young Sam.

2021 ended with 53 housefire fatalities reported in New Jersey state. Up 19 from last year. Second season syndrome for Sam Springsteen?
