Not sure if he’s quite the right player for us, but I did and still do find it strange that he never went in the summer; seen enough of him to know that he is a decent player, and he was coming off the back of a good year. Same with Aouar. He could have gone as well but stayed. Would like to think that we placed our markers down last summer, especially when we arranged our ties with Lisbon, but that’s probably the cue for him to sign for that lot. :-)
Price really, they are desperate for cash Spurs we’re offering £45m they tried to gazump Danny boy walked away.

That story kept the MEN in business for several years. The comments pages on the site at the time were good for a laugh, the era before the click bate mess of a website. I never click on it anymore as its such a mess.

I remember ‘no nowt’ Spencer being on the Radio saying Wesley was deffo united bound and that Aguero was probably off to Real. Lol.

This board couldn't undermine the sporting direction of the club more if they were working directly for RM & taking orders from Perez

Thanks. I’ve just read this elsewhere. Seems a complicated way of doing things but hey ho.

Mendes at the center of this, orchestrating a shell game of moving clients/pieces around. Purportedly, the idea would be to get Rodrigo on loan with Bruno going to Los Che & then reselling the Portuguese midfielder in summer to fund a move for Lautaro or Neymar

How could a plan like that fail?

Doesn't seem like a bad plan if it convinces Valencia to give you Rodrigo. Bruno Fernandes is not a bad player anyway and you still have Everton to take your unwanted players.

But yeah, this is typical Mendes business.

Agree..that is one hell of an impressive strategic plan if true.

Almost reminds me of a tactical plan composed in the financial drama Billions.
