Yes, but with KDB, Silva, Foden and Bernardo it wouldn't seem to leave much game time for Fernandes. Although David will play less and an injury like Kevin had this year to somebody and we would be short. Just seems if everyone was fit Bernardo and Kevin would almost always play so most likely Bernardo wide and Kev, Fernandes, Silva and Foden for the middle.
What about loan Foden for a year to premier league team, get some important mins and experience and then back ,much more ready, after David is gone.

I think Phil is more than ready to start most of the games next year and he is good enough, pretty sure he will develope over the summer and next year he will be a real beast.

Before KDB, Bernardo ,David Silva and maybe Bruno Fernandes? I dont think so

I think it's a good idea. A year at West Ham, Southampton or Sheffield United would benefit him more than City's bench.

Back on topic: haven't read anything on Bruno from Sam Lee. Usually it indicated that the rumour is BS. Or could it be a Bernardo-style quick transfer?

That's because they're the same person.

So can we have him for £35m (release clause) and Hernandes for 70m (release clause) 105m and midfield sorted out. Can sell Gundogan, to offset some of the outlay. If Danilo leaving may need a right back. Possibly need a left back. Job done. The cherry on the cake maybe a new centre back and no2 keeper.

Where have you seen that he has a release clause of £35m? Everywhere I've seen says it's €100m

Not before KDB and Beranrdo maybe ,but as much as i have seen him ,he is good already. His acceleration with the ball is astonishing for a midfielder.

Read somewhere that when Bruno had re-signed for Sporting after breaking up his contract, the release clause was lowered to £35m (or even €35m). So the €50m bid would include some 'goodwill payment'.

If we are too win all 4 trophies next season we will need to bolster the squad with quality. Likely two midfielders, one full back, one centre half and possibly a young forward/winger.

That would be very interesting. I guess we should know some more information soon if this supposed meeting has happened today.

Brilliant player but unneeded. Foden needs more game time and he's not better than KdB or Bernardo. if Ilkay leaves, KdB/Bernardo/Merlin/Foden should be enough, the likes of Felix Nmecha and Adria Bernabé can fill in for early League Cup and FA Cup games.

Agreed I think we need to give Phil his chance signing this guy gives all the wrong signs.

Hello all. My first post here.

I'm Portuguese and a Sporting suporter.

Andrew, that is not totally true.
Bruno Fernandes when return to Sporting, sing a new contract but whit the same conditions that the old one.

The release clause is 100M, but yes... he have another cluse in his contract.

If Sporting refuse any offer superior to 35M, Sporting have to pay 2M to Bruno Fernandes.

Welcome to the forum. So if we offer 36, you have to accept it?
