Bruno Guimaraes

I don’t think it’s anythinkg like Phillips, who is in a small minority of miss steps when compared to all the players we have bought in the last 10 years, the only one maybe to show no improvement.
Phillips was only ever supposed to be a squad player cover for Rodri. We still had Gundogan then. If we buy Guimaraes for £80/100mill it will be because we have a first team role for him as well as providing cover for Rodri.
If we buy him we can play in rotation.
Rodri Guimares
Guimaraes Kovacic
Rodri Kovacic.
All without disrupting how we play, with either Guimaraes or Kovacic in the old Gundogan role.Though think Guimaraes is the one more capable of ghosting into the box with coaching and hopefully grabbing a few goals.
He may not be the the clubs choice ,don’t know but I can see why he would be.
Ok that sounds good, if Kova goes to Saudi who replaces him. Also for Nunes is another bad buy

If he goes, don’t know but not seen any signs of him going. Expect him to stay with us
Nunes I’ll wait and see,he’s shown signs of having something to work with, certainly more than Phillips did. Not sure myself quite where he fits but if Pep doesn’t see anything to work with he’ll maybe loan him out.If he does he’ll keep him.

Apart from his exorbitant price tag, I don’t get why anyone would be against this signature.

He’s the third best DM in the league and he’d add some much needed strength in depth to our midfield.

That’s the thing though is the only issue to fans is talking about the fee? The best manager in history wants this exact player and it’s down to the money men to decide yes or no? If the player is perfect for what we need and Pep wants him then I’m not really arsed how much they cost? It’s only the fee as wages won’t be a problem, probably again like many other players this summer they will ask about Pep and how long he is staying before committing imo.

It’s the price tag. If it was £50m everyone would be super excited about him. We could easily make 100-150m of just fringe players/CFG/youth players, and that doesn’t include any potential sale of Ederson, Walker, Bernardo, Kev and Alvarez.

He’s very expensive, but we can afford him. Don’t think we’ll agree to pay the full £100m as per reports, but if we were to get him for say £80m it would be a bargain relative to a lot of our rivals signings. Antony, Mudryk and Nunez was all around the 80m mark, Enzo was 107m and Caicedo was 115m. Bruno G is twice the player of all of them

Go and get him City.

If we want to stay at the top we need to buying this type of player.
Fortunately we are missing a player like him in our squad so he fills a need and will make us better.

I'd be happy if we got him for £90. He's already proven himself in the PL and offers positional versatility.
