I don't think agents put their players at certain clubs - no disrespect to Newcastle - in our league now without a release clause.

Newcastle will be challenging in a few years but right now, there's clubs that are above them and we're one of them. If we came to them asking for Bruno without a release clause we'd be rightly laughed out the room or given an enormous fee - because that's what he's worth to them - and I think agents know that.

yeah, they know that there's a release clause. the question is can a PL club trigger it or is it for overseas clubs only.

They're after a lot of the players we're after, especially given that we won't sell anymore of our players to them.

Other English clubs see our success and want to take us much from our model as possible. Coaches, transfers, directors, academy staff, multi-club model, you name it.

He's been flirting with us and Pep for 2 years, he did not sign that contract extension without some mention of us and a release fee.

Ever since United signed Maguire I've always looked on forums of the team losing their "star player" to see how much is the truth and how much is media hype. Leicester fans were laughing out loud at the £80m price tag and couldn't believe United hadn't gone for Evans instead because he was the stronger player in that CB partnership.

When we signed Aké I was a bit unsure as to why we were signing a lad who formed part of a relegated defence that conceded 65 goals that season. But I had a look on a Bournemouth forum and they all spoke so highly of him and understood why he was going for such a big move. Took him a while at City but they'd judged him correctly.

Grealish leaving Villa made them all so upset that I knew we were buying a player who, at the very least, would be of great use to us.

The opposite sentiments were expressed by Wolves fans when we signed Nunes last year. They were a bit nonplussed by all the City fuss around him and they were happy to take the money. And when Raheem left City I think the ambivalent reaction to his departure could have been a bit of a canary in the coalmine for Chelsea fans.

So with Bruno and Paqueta potentially coming in, I'm gonna keep an eye on the way Newcastle and West Ham fans talk about them when they leave. West Ham fans know Paqueta makes the difference for them technically and Newcastle fans love Bruno's energy and passion and commitment. I'd be happy with either or both of them.

I think it was a joke as both Newcastle and the rags are suffixed united.

Therefore Bruno G being the best Bruno at United is suggesting the other one isn’t.
