Also, if we bought half the players who are posted in 'players who will improve us' we would already have been relegated to the conference.....without anybody needing to try and get 115 charges to stick ;)

I think we would. But I don’t think Newcastle will sell. They don’t really need the money and need to keep their best players to develop.

Imagine if we sold important players before we won the league. We did it pretty quick and competition is harder now but Newcastle still need to back themselves.

I think this is a case of we like the player, we are clearly rebuilding and have money to spend so it’s being reported we are interested and is really lazy journalism. I can’t see it happening at all.
