Re: Bruno Zuculini

I've now seen a few places report that we paid 3mil(£) for him?

Manchester City look tie up third deal of the summer as they close in on Bruno Zuculini

The 21-year-old is joining City from Racing Club in his native Argentina and has flown to England for his medica

Manchester City have earmarked Bruno Zuculini for their second string as they tie up his £3million move.

Zuculini, 21, is joining City from Racing Club in his native Argentina and has flown to England for his medical.

The defensive midfielder is an Under-20 international with Argentina and is seen as an exciting prospect in his homeland.

But City, who bought midfielder Fernando from Porto for £12million this week, expect him to slot initially into Patrick Vieira's Elite Development Squad.

City have already added to their ranks this summer after Bacary Sagna's switch from Arsenal was followed up with the £12million capture of Porto midfielder Fernando.

probably £1.5m upfront and £1.5m on add ons..

Every report in Argentina, while the UK press hasn't even mentioned this deal (till he turns up in Manchester), have said a US$2.5m fee (£1.5m) with zero mention of add-ons. What we may have here is a classic case ofthe UK press doing what it does best with City, inflating prices to suit their agenda.

He'll be on loan, correct?
On loan to City? No permanent transfer. On loan to somewhere in Europe? Possible
Yes lol, I meant he'll arrive at City and then we'll loan him out.

Man City hopeful of announcing signing of Argentinian midfielder Bruno Zuculini today. One for the future.

"One for the future" - lost count of the number of times I've heard that over the last 40 years. Under the current regime I have faith it may come true for once !
Better than paying £27m for an 18 year old "hot prospect".

Re: Bruno Zuculini

Since we have been linked with him I have watched him in a few Racing games as you can get the Argentine Primera on YouTube.

He looks raw and has shown good moments and bad moments but at the end of the day City wouldn't be signing him if they didn't see any potential.

I texted in to 5Live's World Football Phone-In a few month back and asked Tim Vickery about him and he said he is your typical all round Argentine midfielder.

He is likely going to go on loan but he has the incentive now to go out and develop himself further and prove to City he can play for us.
