AS: Zuculini signed for City today until 2019 and Málaga have asked for him on loan. Could be used to lower the fee for Willy Caballero.

Shrewd as fuck that.

Málaga want Zuculini on loan as part of Caballero move to Man City

Signing goalkeeper Willy Caballero is the aim of Manchester City, with negotiations in progress, but Málaga are hoping to get midfielder Bruno Zuculini on loan as part of the deal, with the 21-year-old completing his move to the English side from Racing Club.

There’s a lengthy list of La Liga sides, all keen to take talented young Argentine midfielder Bruno Zuculini on loan this season, even though he’s only just moved to Manchester City. Immediate first team options for the 21-year-old look slim however, which means the Premier League side may be willing to let him move elsewhere on a temporary basis, to maintain his progress.

Whilst clubs such as Villarreal and Deportivo La Coruña are amongst those interested, it appears Málaga now top the list of possible destinations for Zuculini, hoping that during their negotiations with Manchester City for the sale of goalkeeper, Willy Caballero, they can tempt the Premier League champions into letting the young midfielder move in the opposite direction.

Zuculini sealed his move to Manchester City earlier in the year, agreeing a pre-contract with the English side. They’re also keen to finally secure the services of Willy Caballero, who has remained loyal to Málaga amidst plenty of speculation over the last year, but seems keen to finally head to England, now that there is solid movement between the two clubs.

Seems good deal if all parties agree

Re: Bruno Zuculini

Still not been announced! I could understand us not announcing it if he's one for the future, but Racing haven't announced it either and he's a first team player so they definitely would announce it, surely!?

Zuculini has returned to England and will train for the first time at City tomorrow. Loan to Deportivo or Málaga likely. (via @NicoMontala)
