Do you not think that he would have told the board ages ago who he wants? Perhaps it's more to do with players being away on international duty, Execs ala Gary Cook Being on holiday etc.

The window has not been open long anyway, just chill your boots and all will come good!

For god sake Chill out ,we have signed Barry who i think will be our new skipper and he has seen the targets so knows the ambition of the club otherwise he wouldnt have come ,
We are all jumping up and down re players ie Tevez and the likes ,They may not want to come to us regards of how much money we throw at them ,
I want players at this club who want to play and will fight for the shirt they wear ,not mercanary money men.

Look, most top players in the top teams in Europe are foreigners to the respective country their team plays in, which makes me think that they've left their own country for the money.

In a perfect world (for most of them) they would be playing for their hometown club and challenging for major honours, as this is in most cases impossible they move abroad for a fortune in wages.

Where is the money? Clubs playing in the CL League, so they obviously pick the best talent around because they can AFFORD them through CL revenue and with most of these players having come from abroad they have no affinity or loyalty to the club that they choose to go to.

Do you think a top player would move to Barca and accept £10.000 a week wages because he wants to win trophies? No chance its all about the money.

Now we have more money than these clubs and their only selling point CL football.
Are selling point is that we can afford anyone in the world.

Do not under estimate the power of money to a footballer.
Big names will be coming to us, make no mistake.

I just cant understand how RM can have a new gaffer a week there skint and within 48 hours can sighn 2 of the biggest names in world football [and i think Barry is a briliant buy]
If money talks we should be well heard if Tevez is to join us dont you think it should be sorted by now RM had no probs with kaka just seams we have to make it hard work as usual

Why can't people just relax and see what happens!!! Players aren't back in training for another month which is when managers like to have players in by! Also theres ages till the transfer window shuts so lets just enjoy the ride.

The press has linked us with every player under the sun, we have done nothing!

Who says the club is not prepared and plans are not in place!

2 weeks and it's already doom and gloom on this forum!

this thread seems to just show how unreasonable we have become as fans..

The Barry deal was incredibly early in the window

Really it is only next week after the internationals that deals - no matter if targets have been identified in advance - can be done

End of July if no movement is a time to be concerned

End of August - time to be pissed off

11th June is a time to just reflect / anticipate and be grateful that our management is not leaking everything to the press
