What are your hopes/expectations? Strongly rumoured to be favouring NI cut rather than tax which is unfortunate for the NI exempt pensioners.
ThisI expect short term popular measures to try and win votes
Nothing that will improve the country or create growth or confindence.
Those that should be taxded will be ignored.
The energy companies that are ripping us off will be allowed to carry on
I think they know they can't implement any vote winners so will just find a way of making them and their pals benefit for the next 6 months.
He should increase personal allowances and make up the difference with higher income tax and newer bands.
*Further fucked but I take your point.**** leaking to his favourite client journalists there will be a cut in NI contributions.
That's the NHS fucked.
I'll go for a 1.5% cut.Hope: Complete reform of the tax bands from top to bottom - which currently make zero sense. Landmark investments into infrastructure and public services.
Expectation: 0.5% off NI - probably worth something like £10 a month to the average earner - but messaged like the Tory's have just accomplished a feat akin to solving world hunger. Real-terms cuts to public services inaccurately communicated as "record spending".
You know... the shame shit we've had for 14 years.
That'l help the pensionersI'll go for a 1.5% cut.
