Building a Result Driven Organization: Ferran Soriano

Watched an hour of it and thought it was all common sense standard management awareness. Apart from a few snippets about the revenues of City and other clubs I think I'd have done one to the bar which judging by some of the empty seats a few others already had.

Result driven organisation - what, they aren't happy just ploughing cash into a business with no expectation of any return?

As Basil Fawlty might have said "Our next contestant, Ferran Soriano - Specialist subject, the bleedin' obvious."

Win some cups, recruit 600m fans around the world, flog some shirts. Sell some hospitality cabins to the corporate entertainment sector and create a self-supporting megalith to replace Manyoo. Ho hum.

Looks like it would be worth the time. Just have to find an hour+ to watch and listen.

Thanks for posting.

Think some of you are being a touch harsh! It would be nice to chop it up into the City related bits, but there was some interesting info re: Van Gaal and why despite some success he'll probably be a disaster eventually.

It didn't take long.

Now I wonder where Ian Ladyman got the inspiration to write that aricle from?
Does he by any chance read BM and then...............
