Speaking to a mate today who’s with Scottish power on a fixed tariff until the end of Feb this year , at the moment he pays £130 a month for his gas and electricity, they have told him it will be £320 a month from March !!!

Looking at the all green energy when I was on the comparison sights the cheaps was around 1k a month for gas and electric !

Gas normally goes for about 50p a therm. £2.20 today. It’s been up to £4.50 at times. We are all going to get hammered.

Currently pay SSE £59 a month for Electric and £61 for gas.

They recently put it up a fiver on my fixed tarrif until 2023 and said to absorb the expected rises.
