Dortmund win 6-1 against bottom of the league. they were 3-1 up at the 74th minute, they make 4 changes from 80 mins onwards and get another 3 from 85th minute. Now I didn’t watch it and we can’t say they wouldn’t have achieved a similar result but on the face of it that looks to me as if the new 5 sub rule is benefitting the teams with better squads, combined with the very condensed schedule giving less time to rest and prepare there’s an unfair advantage that didn’t exist at the start of the season. Integrity. I cannot wait for the impending lawsuits across Europe when this season has concluded

The rule changes and situation is the same for everybody. And you see which team has made their Corona homework.

I do not see an advantage here for the good teams. Paderborn held Dortmund away from goal for a long time with a lot effort - even made a comeback in minute 71 to a 1:2 - and just broke down in the last minutes. Isn't that often like this when a top team faces an underdog?

I do not see the rule as an advantage for the better teams. It can work in both directions.

I watched from the 40th min, was 0-0 at HT and in the 5 first half mins I saw they could have had three.

Think City v Burton. Once Dortmund got ahead they were able to score at will. Sancho got 3 as well.

I remember a few years ago we were beating a poor team 3-1 away from home in the 90th minute before Dzeko scored twice either side of a David Silva goal and coming away with a satisfying 6-1 victory.

Don't think its an unusual occurrence, but better than the alternative of players having to play 90 mins every couple of days for 2.5 months to catch up after a 3 month break where they couldn't train.

Losing to Bayern as well, not good. At least 1860 are coming up on the rails.
A long way to go (and its very tight), but would they be able to play at the Grünwalder in Bundesliga 2? Not sure where they are up to with the renovations but I didn't think it was suitable previously.

Not quite sure. I think they are planning another improvement to take it to about 18500.

I like Union Berlin but they’re really struggling this season. Brilliant history too.
