Got to admit that I am not looking forward to football starting again myself. It just feels way to early to start again and considering what has been happening at Hertha, Augsburg etc. I believe this is a recipe for disaster.

Watching football without any fans is a shit show as well. Frankfurt had the questionable honours to play matches in an empty ground before and the lack of atmosphere is just putting me off completely.

I know that football is a business and many clubs are on the brink of getting bankrupt, but holy shit...Players getting tested every two days while there are still nurses etc who are not getting tested on a regular basis just feels wrong.

Right 'n wrong are moral issues. The groups and individuals who govern football have never been morally inclusive!

I lived in Germany for 10 years and still don’t have a favourite team. I love the football and the atmosphere in the stadiums, and went to shitloads of games all over the country, but there’s only ever been one team for me
I sort of get where you’re coming from. I enjoy their games so much that I feel I can loan my support to whoever I’m watching for the day (except Bayern).

I’ve been to 7 grounds and enjoyed each and every one. I do have a little place in my heart for 1.FC Köln because of Rhineland, staying there 3 times and watching them twice and Eintracht Frankfurt because of Bembeltown and the fact me and my lad had an epic adventure getting there and a fantastic day once there. I’d also love 1860 to get back up although they don’t show any signs at the moment.

I can't say I have a favourite German team but anyone playing Bayern will get my support.

Today I'll watch Fortuna Dusseldorf v Paderborn, a relegation 6-pointer and Uwe for the City connection.

Hertha Berlin for me, saw them lose 1-3 at home to Bayern Munich back in 1982 in a half empty stadium

Watching Karlsruher - Darmstadt, Bundesliga 2, and it's ........shit so far. You can immediately see why they were pushing for restart in Germany and TV broadcast, the sheer number of adverts is bewildering. Cronimet, Klaiber Markisen, Sauter, Tannezapfle, Hosting Services Abilis...it is more interesting deciphering all of these German companies than football itself. And noises, everything is heard, apart from German ( I swear I heard a few Scheiße-s when Karlsruher hit the bar) which I understand to certain extents, but also, birds chirping, camera shutters opening and closing and so on .....And the goal celebration, no touching of course, but I suppose each team will develop their own little routine. We should start betting which game will Pep shout 'dink it Raz, dink it!!!' This is like watcihng a game on Hackney Marshes!

Hertha Berlin for me too. I visited their creepy 1936 Olympic Games stadium in the early 90s for a 2nd division match. About 10000 people rattling around an 80000 venue, but I was hooked. They are a bit like old school City. Biggest club, by far, in the German capital but they never punch their weight.
