Glückwunsch to you Rhineland, at least you got the win that you were hoping for...my brother in law (the FC supporting bastard!!) is obviously chuffed as well.

Thanks, Bembeltown, Eintracht-Fans were fantastic, constant support for their team. I guess they were more than the usual away allocation of 5.000.
Much needed win for Cologne, the next couple of matches don't seem to get any easier.

Schalke and Leverkusen have better managers in charge this season, but I said it earlier, Germnay winning the world cup has given a lot of players more confidence. The general standard of the Bundesliga has been a lot higher this season. Schalke and Leverkusen have both beaten the Madrid teams. I am sure a lot of the players were thinking that if Schurrle can star in a world cup then they can do much better.

Well played Schalke tonight, and a lesson for City with the performance of Sane, who also appeared in the Youth game at the Mini Etihad, winning an assist for Schalke’s last minute equalizer.

The lesson to give youth a chance?

Correct!

Something that City have become very good at talking about in recent years, but not much evidence of taking it any further.

Good news for the Royal Blues: Schalke have activated the transfer clause with Nastasic and signed a deal to keep him in Gelsenkirchen until the 30th June 2019. The defender initially moved on loan from Manchester City at the start of 2015.

Cologne with a comfortable 0 - 0 draw away to Dortmund. A good result considering that we usually lose there and that Dortmund are back on track and have put together a couple of good results in recent weeks.

With only 9 matches (respectively 10 for a few clubs) left, the battles for places to avoid relegation or for going to Europe will intensify. As long as Cologne stay up, I don't really care who's going down and I'd be looking forward to welcome back Kaiserslautern and Darmstadt to the Bundesliga. Incredible story with Darmstadt, who avoided relegation to the Regionalliga only thanks to their much hated local rivals Kickers Offenbach who went into administration, only to win a play off spot in the following season, actually winning the play off vs Bielefeld with a goal in virtually the final second of the second leg to gain promotion to the 2. Bundesliga. And now they have extended their unbeaten run to what, 15, 16 matches and are in second place!

I hate Karlsruhe

Now we are talking!! ;)

I usually hate them as well, but under thoooose circumstances...

Really hope Darmstadt and Kaiserslautern go up. For Darmstadt it would be a dream coming true especially considering the circumstances Rhineland described. It could be the story for a hollywood movie....

Kaiserslautern and Darmstadt would be proper derbies as well (Fuck you Mainz, you are not Derby worthy!).

Lets swap K-Town/Darmstadt for Stuttgart and Paderborn and I am a happy camper. Even though I would absolutely love to see Hamburg going down. But those feckers always manage to escape somehow.

Agree about Darmstadt, although I remember watching their game at 'Slautern earlier in the season and they showed no ambition whatsoever.

Like I've just mentioned on twitter, no matter what happens in the rest of the season Ingolstadt will be better off in the future. Hopefully, we can strengthen even more and challenge even more in future seasons, if we don't hold on this season.
