Kuba went down today vs Augsburg, they are saying it could be an ACL injury. BvB are not getting any favors this season....

What are peoples thoughts of Draxler, worth the 30 odd million Arsenal seem to be looking to pay?
He is worth €20m, €25m max in my opinion

BM, what are your thoughts on this apparent link with Kroos and United?
Nothing worth worrying about at the moment, Bayern have admitted money is the main issue that is stalling negotiations but Bayern will not be quick to sell especially a promising German like Kroos

Gladbach 2 down amazingly , they are playing beautiful stuff
Wouldn't go that far. Bayern barely got out of walking pace. The match was so easy for them. Gladbach did play some nice stuff and could have scored several times, but Bayern would have stepped up if that happened. The game was too static for Gotze and Muller, but were still probably Bayern's best players ignoring the goals.

Bayern need more movement upfront and a faster tempo, but sure that will be added.

Javi Martinez is really not wanted by Guardiola. Would not be surprised to see him leaving.

I still don't see what Thiago brings to the team.

Bayern were susceptible to quick counter attacks as usual.
I don't know which match you watched but Thiago was more involved in the midfield than his counter part Kroos. Also Martinez is injured at the moment so he didnt play
More touches, but added nothing to the play. Kroos was involved in everything Bayern did well, but the team sleepwalked through this match and barely broke into a run. Apart from being a better dribbler, Kroos is better than Thiago at everything.

Martinez has been 'injured' or 'tired' all season. He does not seem to be part of Guardiola's plans at all. It's only going to get worse for him when Schweinsteiger is fit.

Even in the league where Sam is worth 1.5 million pounds, Draxler would be worth more than 20 million euros. 30 million would be considered a good deal for him. He has so much potential. Under Wenger he would blossom. He is more talented, plays better and has done a lot more than Barkley for comparison.

His best position is on the left at the moment, but like Hazard he seems to think he is a 10, but Keller has the sense to play him out wide. If Wenger gets a hold of him might even convert him into a striker.

On to Schalke it was a very good weekend for them with 3 of their main rivals losing and Dortmund drawing.

The best thing about the match for Dortmund was that at least Ji was the one, to equalise against them. So much wrong with the team, tactics and worse Kuba maybe out for the season. The blame for all this goes on Klopp. Last season was Dortmund at their best with highly gifted technical players player a type of organised chaos. This season is just chaos. Lots of runners, but no one with technical skill. So much wrong.

-lack of creativity
-Sahin cannot dominate a midfield like Gundogan
-Kehl in midfield lacks the mobility of Bender
-Bender still makes mistakes at the back at fault for both goals.
-front three far too narrow
-Henrikh is average and provides no creativity
-Aubemayang is an average player only good for counter attacks
-atmosphere is not good and the fans get on the players back quickly.

I think the fans booed after the game. I think by default they will get top 4 this year, but with Lewandowski and Gundogan leaving they need to spend at least 60 odd million in the summer.

Saw bits of the Schalke first half, but was watching the Chelsea game. Saw the second half though, when the game was over. Farfan's goal killed the game. Schalke looked to be playing some decent stuff. With Boateng in the team they also have the option of going to a 4-3-3. Huntelaar coming back for them was massive. Everything is a lot easier when you have a centre forward like that. Meyer continues to impress. One thing he needs to do is let loose a bit more. Hard to explain, but often you can just tell he sees a clever through ball, but he holds back from playing it. With more confidence I think he will start going for it more and more. Lucky with his goal. Farfan was very good.

Out of all the top teams Schalke probably are in the strongest position for next season. Wolfburg have a lot of money and can invest though. Dortmund are in real danger of collapsing out of the top 4. Apart from Holtby I am not sure who they can buy and they do need someone. Said it before, but the summer was a complete disaster for them.

Pure magic! :D

Kroos who? ;)

What a goal! THIAAAAAGGOOOOO!!!!!

1-2 Stuttgart vs Bayern Munich FT
Saw the first half and the last 15 or so. Thiago was very good today even without his goal. Stuttgart dominated the first half though. With a bit more composure Werner could have had a couple.
