Bayern have won the league already, Dortmund will be lucky to make Europe.

Watched Dortmund earlier and they were awful. It was just like before Christmas except the defence was more solid. Reus did not look fully fit after his injury midweek and had an anonymous game. Without him they literally had no threat. All they did was launch a number of long balls and hope they got lucky. It was worse than the football we played in the Championship when facing relgation and liquidation. Mkhitaryan and Kagawa are useless players. They are liabilities and hurt the team. Klopp needs to stop playing them. A big mistake letting Hofmann go, because he is so much better than what they have. Needs to have a big clear out in the summer. Needs to buy young German talent.

Meyer got two goals for Schalke. What a talent he is. Hope he starts against Madrid. He is so good and is so young. If he can avoid bad influences like KPB then he can do anything in the game.

Actually I expected Dortmund to have problems in Hamburg. And it is nothing new of this season that Dortmund has problems against good defending opponents that are a little physical. Does not have to do much with the form of Reus - he is not the player for this situations.

Yes Dortmund have trouble with Hamburg and I have a soft spot for Hamburg. Even despite their thrashing by Bayern they have been good defensively this year, but watching the match it was clear why they struggled.

Reus being unfit and Kampl not starting were the two biggest reasons. As for Reus let's just agree to disagree. It's not like teams have not defensive against Dortmund recently. How do you think Schalke played against them? Yet despite scoring late on Dortmund ripped them apart. I know you hate Dortmund, but actually look at it with impartiality. Just look at their win percentage with Reus and without it. It's even more apparent when you take into account that 3 of the games he played were after coming back from injury. 12 goals in 21 games and has been getting back to fitness in some of those games.

Just have come back home from Cologne vs Frankfurt (4-2). A quick hello to "Scaring Europe to Death" and Toffies-Marc, who are staying in Dusseldorf (of all places) after the match. I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to show what being Cologne is all about: Thanks for that. I hope you've enjoyed the match and the Kölsch more than Dusseldorf''s Alt :-). Come on, FC!

He picked a game with plenty of goals (too many for Bembeltown but I'm sure you were pleased), and witnessed a questionable celebration with a goat - have the animal rights groups had anything to say about that yet? It was just a bit weird!

Just waiting for it to be confirmed that City get knocked out next week :( , but I think I'll have to wait until next season to get over to see Köln. I am hoping to squeeze in a trip in May but Köln are away the weekend I can do so I'm looking further north. If the TV fixtures are kind to me, I'm hoping I can get to Bremen, Wolfsburg, and St Pauli.

Does anyone know when to expect the Spieltag 31 fixture times to be confirmed?

Great...nothing better than celebrating our 116 Birthday by losing 4-2 to Cologne. :(
We are really inconsistent as fuck...can´t really explain how we play decent football one week and then the following matchday we struggle so much.

Glückwunsch to you Rhineland, at least you got the win that you were hoping for...my brother in law (the FC supporting bastard!!) is obviously chuffed as well.

Ujah already apologised officialy for the goat incident. However I think beeing the mascot of FC you are used to worse things than a striker pulling your horns after scoring. ;)

Cheers Mate

We had a brilliant three days at Fortuna 2 Bochum 2, Schalke 3 Hoffenheim 1 and then Cologne 4 Frankfurt 2.

Highlights
1/ Undoubtedly the prices: 17 euros, 15 euros and 28 euros respectively.
2/ Drinking at the bar outside Schalke’s old stadium where City played in 1970
3/ Brilliant seats on the Cologne side of the segregation barrier, yet surrounded by Frankfurt fans. Even a little bit of English style needle between the Frankfurt fans and the stewards.

I’ve now seen around 30 Bundesliga games and that was probably the best. It certainly didn’t feel like a 4-2 game, just after Frankfurt had equalized.
I remember you confessing that you would take a draw at that point. Funny how football never works out the way you imagine.

Thanks for organising our tickets and I presume you’re smiling after your English team won at the swamp last night

Haha, yep, would have settled for a draw at that time indeed. Frankfurt were going forward and looked more likely to score the next goal. You told me otherwise and tought me a lesson about staying positive. That kept in mind I was trying to be optimistic throughout Arsenal's match yesterday. I had such a good weekend, what could go wrong on Monday night?
