Surely if Bayern Munich win the European Cup this season, the current side they have now will go down as one of the greatest ever?!

The team balance is absolutely perfect, solid defense, solid midfield, hard working midfield but with great creativity, and overall an unrivalled strikeforce in terms of options and goals itself.

Guardiola really has his work cut out to really go out and prove himself at Bayern.

Chelsea need a manager, what about Heynckes? The managerial route at the top end of world football does not start and end with Mourinho!

I've been watching Bayern for around 30 years and this is easily the best Bayern team I've ever seen. We absolutely destroyed Hannover yesterday.

I can't see Heynckes going abroad to work at his age unless he goes to Spain which is a country he has worked in before and he loves it.

Actually - after this Championship - and at the end it will be one that probably has broken the most important records the Bundesliga had in 50 years and set records that are really sensational - after probably his first win of the German Cup - and maybe even after winning the CL and with it the first time a German team has ever won a treble - I do not think there is anything to do than retiring.

Heynckes never was the success coach - even if he won the CL once. Apart from that 3 or 4 years Bayern in his first stay end of the 80s and that one year in Madrid he was more the coach of midtable clubs. With this season he can put a crown to his own carrier.

Its stupid how close the teams are that are fighting for Europe/against relegation.

Bremen and Düsseldorf are in good trouble down there as well now...

I just hope that Hoffenheim gets twatted again next week and they should be as good as gone.

I'm planning to go and see Alemannia Aachen (who currently reside in the 3. Liga due to financial trouble) in their last two matches. Think it's right that as many people as possible from around that area go an support them despite the relegation.

Bit of talk on Twitter (I know) that there is about to be some huge news regarding football coming out of Germany.
