Other than that it seems as if the Schürrle -> Chelsea deal is getting closer as we speak.

Schürrle is supposed to earn 4 Million Euro a year. I would definitely warm the bench for that salary as well....

He's like that mücke (mosquito) that starts whining around your head when you go to bed, fairly irritating but pointless in the scheme of things :-)

As for the Schürrle deal I think Leverkusen are getting the best of the deal with De Bruyn and cash.

I can see them being even better ( if its possible) with him.. No idea what he might change though, as their squad is good enough as it is.

Bayern's strength in depth is frightening, no one else really stood a chance this season in the Bundesliga. Heynckes has rotated well too, nobody has rocked the boat. Great management in a team full of egos. The key next season will be if some of the "squad" players, like Gomez leave, and the squad becomes thinner, because at the moment they can replace quality with quality.

Wohoo...we are back in business for the Euro League after beating Schalke at home with 1-0.

Great match for our backup goalie Oka Nikolov and a great starting 11 debut for yet another promising youngster with the 17 year old Marc Stendera.

Hope you enjoyed your first visit to the Waldstadion Ruhr (despite the result), and stay "stau" free on your way back to Berlin.

Funny fact of the day: Mr. financial fairplay Uli Honess obviously gets charged for evasion of taxes.

yes, it was a fine day until 3.30 pm. Not only the result, also it seemed, some in the away end had not taken their pills. Bad atmosphere throughout the match.

Surely if Bayern Munich win the European Cup this season, the current side they have now will go down as one of the greatest ever?!

The team balance is absolutely perfect, solid defense, solid midfield, hard working midfield but with great creativity, and overall an unrivalled strikeforce in terms of options and goals itself.

Guardiola really has his work cut out to really go out and prove himself at Bayern.

Chelsea need a manager, what about Heynckes? The managerial route at the top end of world football does not start and end with Mourinho!
