Always had a soft spot for Alemmania Aachen after watching them in UEFA v Lille at Koln.Had a good crack with their fans in Koln so very sad to see them in 3rd tier this season.Keep on meaning to get over and see them when City are not playing but work and finances stop it!

They get support from the benelux countries as well due to their location.

I went over to watch Alemannia twice last season and hope to get over again towards the end of this season.

Things aren't going too well off the field at the moment with a huge battle in Saarbrücken the other week between the two different Aachen ultras groups. The whole thing has seen the club remove all the KBU banners and memorabilia from the ground and the last two games have seen the KBU actively segregated from the rest of the support until they can weed all the bad eggs out.

On the field and I fear this season isn't going to be a promotion battle as was touted in the pre-season. The new players don't seem much of an improvement on last season's shower, and I think a year of consolidating in mid-table is in order before, hopefully, putting in a sustained promotion bid next year.

How long the weekly 15,000 will keep going is anyone's guess.

Are Hamburg really that bad? Sad to see them like this when you think of how good they were a few years ago. Van Der Vaart needs to go back there.

@Ruhr

You forgot to tell about the Pezzoni-story. Ok, that is Liga 2 now.

Cologne and he yesterday agreed to cancel his contract after he continuously was threatened by Cologne fans that even came to his house etc. In February a unrecognized person had broken his nose.
