Looks like there is some excitement around the CL.

Our CL shirt got sold 10000 times within the first 24 hours. I knew that the CL was a money printing machine, but I actually didn't factor in the merchandise sales.

The shirt is similar to our home shirt. Clean black with the typical structure of a "Geripptes" on it. A "Geripptes" is the traditional glass that is used to serve the local speciality called Apfelwein. Or as us locals call it "Aeppler" or "Ebbelwoi".View attachment 55077
Very nice that.

Good luck on the adventure!

Sounds like how the redshirts talk about us and Newcastle tbh
Fuck the entitled establishment, whether here or in Germany. Cunts, meet Kuntz
It is not only the establishment.

I actually do not care about the ownership that much but about that their owner Mateschitz is an Austrian right winger. He has a TV channel, too, that broadcasts in Germany and Austria.

The club itself - I think the Rasenball system that Rangnick brought over Germany where everybody just works against the ball - but the least teams or players really can do something with the ball (totally different to Pep ball - even if his team know how to press etc.) - is not really good for German football. Yes, it works great if just 2 or 3 teams play like this (we have exported it together with the coaches to the EPL) - but not when about ever underdog and especially teams that have the money for better football play like this.

Marco Rose is said to sign for the coaching job in Leipzig in the next hours (ex Salzburg, then Gladbach, then Dortmund coach). He comes from the Red Bull school and is home in the Leipzig area. His first matches will be Dortmund, Real Madrid, Gladbach...

Pretty sure I have seen @Rhineland riot on TV in Nice when he found out there is no Kölsch available.

Jokes aside: Going to be interesting to see what kind of fine Cologne is getting. We are on the Uefa observation list after the pitch invasion against West Ham and I can imagine Cologne getting a fine as well.

Seemed to be a failure in policing and stewarding on Nice's part, but yeah Köln will get in a bit of bother for that. It seemed planned on their part. Maybe a ban for away fans in remaining games.
