i do hope dortmund win bundesliga this season. last time they won was in 2002 when they toppled poor bayer neverkusen in the last game.

I have followed Borussia Dortmund ever since a kid learning German at school, when we each had to pick a team. They had Emerson and Siggy Held on the wings back then. Bloody marvellous. Their support is fantastic and I like the way the players always go to their kop end after a home game and prat about, getting the crowd dancing and singing.

City fans have a close tie with Schalke fans, ie Bredbury Blues. I had a great time in Gels(cant spell the rest) when we were over there a couple of years ago so i always look out for their results, so no way would i want Dortmund to win the league. Great entertainment the German league

I heard a lot of Schalke lads come over and watch City now and again. Is that true?

Yeah that is true, as i said i know lads from the Bredbury blues go over to Schalke as do they come over here

You mean about a couple of dozen City fans have close links with Schalke fans? It's hardly an interclub marriage just because Ian Cheeseman and a few blokes in Bredbury like them!:)

I agree though, I also had a fantastic time over there a couple of years ago and their fans were great. How time flies!
