Burnley (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

The danger tonight was that we would not recover after the adrenaline drain but we just about had enough. Now on to Wembley, but I want to go back in time to Sunday afternoon and relive that again. That was an epic game.

I'm starting to think that Sav is Peps secret love child. As if bringing him on would lead to anything. Great to be top, but feels a lost opportunity to pile on some good goal difference. Can see Arsenal putting 6 past Newcastle on Sat.

Every chance that only winning 1-0 is gonna bite us on the arse come the end of the season

A huge opportunity missed tonight by our wastefulness
so teams should just roll over like they did for rags because the boss was besties with their boss
rather miss out than teams taking it easy thanks

Newcastle are desperate for a result of any kind so I am not so sure whereas the latte drinkers have a huge game versus Atletico coming up. Draw

1-0 wins will do fine, they won't win all their matches. On current form they don't look like winning any of them.
We could of took a little pressure off tonight.
But saying that if we get to another FA Cup final, I think the lads will start to fly

Do people not think the game v Arsenal took it out of us?

We won. We were 10 points behind. We are now top.

We have beaten Arsenal twice, battered Chelsea and Liverpool and won a cup. We could be on for a domestic treble.

Just stop with the complaints.Please.

They’ll certainly put 6 past this Burnley team at home

Went tonight. Great away end. Not so great on the pitch. However, we still needed to win an away game in the Premier League and we did. Let’s take the positive from that and use it as motivation. Winning games of football breeds a winning mentality and that’s exactly what we have right now and it’s exactly what Arsenal don’t have right now - just when it matters most.

The beautiful game is also quite easily the opposite. Just the way it is sometimes. 11v11 athletes of various levels slogging it out with one another.

Always been like that, always will be. The day it isn't is the day the robots have taken over . . .
Absolutely, QPR game is the perfect example, nailed on home win with a bunch of superstars against a poor QPR side
. Should have played Gonzales tonight though and kept his Doku/Oreilly left wing attack, we were unbalanced and much as rate Nico, hes better at left back with a license to roam.

No they won't, they'll be absolutely gutted.

We went top after being 9 behind 2 weeks ago.

At 1 nil they would have been hoping all game for an equaliser that never came.
they'd have expected worse is the problem. they'd have expected us to win 5-0. i didn't, but i'm just saying
