Not gonna worry about goal difference on a game-by-game basis, no matter how much Sky try to hype it up

But whether we like it or not it is totally relevant. If Arsenal score one more goal than us now and match our results they win the league.

We had a chance to really put our foot on their throat. They now have an awful out of form Newcastle side at the emirates. They score 3/4 that’s like an extra point and means a win at Everton doesn’t mean we go back top.

Not to mention they have Burnley at home penultimate game of the season. If they needed to they could realistically put about 6 past them.

It’s a poor result given the opposition

I really feel like the right wing dynamic just pales in comparison to our left. Look at O'Reilly and Doku - last Sunday it produced the attacking motion needed to win against Arsenal. Then look at Nunes and Semenyo/Savinho - not much of the same chemistry. This needs more work, with training and full integration over the Summer.

Looked leggy after 4 tough games, but top of the league is the main thing.

I don’t know what game you watched but Burnley were not fighting for survival.

They were shit. We let them off what should have been a hammering with really poor play.

As I said, we played within ourselves at times.

Burnley offered very little going forward for sure. Defensively they got their tactics right, and never capitulated. They were very well drilled.
