Reading Arsenal forums & that has lifted them a bit so I imagine it gives players a boost too. Good 3 points but so many chances to get a 3 or 4 goal advantage takes pressure of them a bit.

That was our easiest game left so we need ti make sure all chances are taken from this point.

Sav was miles better tonight than Semenyo..he should have been subbed early doors..he's been off it for a few games now.
Not sure if it nerves getting to him but he needs to up his game again.

Very poor tonight. Half arsed, walking football. A reluctance to get at them at times, always looking to be safe and then cocking up or over playing.
Semenyo, Cherki, O’Reilly not quite on it tonight. It was crying out for Foden and Marmoush. Relieved to have got the 3 points
Arsenal now have two home games before we play again, so we will be playing catch up again.

Arsenal are struggling for goals and dropping results left right and centre.

They’ve got two gruelling games against Athletico that’ll sap energy out of them.

It will depend on arsenal's next 2 games before we play again.
If they win them both 3-0, tonight was a very bad result.

If they drop points then tonight will look like a great result.

Prior to this we played 4 games against 3 teams who want to try and play against us and at least try to attack. The big challenge for us is that we will play teams like tonight who will sit in and counter for the rest of the season.

I’ve never been confident we will win the league because I don’t think we are consistent enough and we don’t have any “game changers” from the bench. I thought that was startling tonight. We needed something and our attacking sub was Savinho. If he is your saviour then you’re in trouble but who else would we bring on Foden, Marmoush, Reijnders?! None of those three are in any sort of form so if Cherki, Doku, and Semenyo aren’t on it (I’ve left out Haaland as he will always stay on) then we are buggered.

We’ve finally gone top of the league and I feel less confident than I did before. Probably says more that to be fair haha

Decent performance aside from some actual piss poor finishing.

I can’t help feel it’s a missed opportunity to put more pressure on Arsenal though. They’ve got two ideal fixtures before we play to really rack up the goals. They’ve also got Burnley at home after that as well.

Based on the fixtures remaining, I think we either win the league by points or Arsenal win it on goal difference.

That was a great win. The pundits are either naive or trying to create a narrative - which is why Haaland looked a bit confused by their questions.
This was not a game where we go and beat a shit, open team by loads of goals. This was a team fighting on the very last day to stay up, or at least go down fighting. This was a harder game than if they were safe. This was also a team that did everything they could to prevent us from scoring. We always struggle against teams like this. That early goal helped us because it meant we could keep possession.

Pundits emploring us to go for goals - we see what happens when we do that against teams like this. They wait for us to pour everyone forward and they go for the counter. We nullified that today whilst remaining possession and still having a chance to try to score. What you don't want to do in a title race is get caught up in the hype, go for goal and concede. Better to win 1-0 and get the points.

Great win today. Top of the league.
