I wouldn’t bother engaging them mate. It’s the same every season. On what basis does it feel like a bad result? We've just gone top for the first time in over 200 days when even a month ago nobody gave us a prayer of catching Arsenal.
Meanwhile they've been in poor form for a couple of months at least, scraping wins when they have won, lost the Carabau to us, out of the FAC to a Championship side, lost at home to Bournemouth then lost again to us - 4 games in which they had the chance to show the world they are the best team and they end up out of two competitions and now lose top spot with 5 games left.
If you're an Arsenal fan this will feel like a vey bad result. Job done.
We have goals in us at home. Palace and Brentford will be key to it. The good thing is we will know exactly what we need to do when we go to Everton. We should have won by three or four tonight and that's how Pep set us up. A missed opportunity, he expects Arsenal to win their games, and wanted goal difference to be in our favour.
We were sluggish and wasteful unfortunately.
Job done points wise but it's going to be difficult with the comparative remaining games to boost our goal difference more than theirs. I personally think the league will be won on points still and that won't ultimately matter.
Onto the next game.
I always think it's dumb to talk about these matches as missed opportunities. You can play 5 times better and still not score, you can play worse and win 3-0, it's how the game works. They either go in or they don't, it is what it is.Yeah, that’s the mindset before the game. But when reflecting, we should have scored a few more. It’s a missed opportunity. Peps behaviour on the sideline tells you everything.
yep rodri had no impact at allPep stop fookin around with midfield
3 points that’s all
Hopefully, Pep gets the message. You have to keep it simple. Nouri for O'Reilly if he needs a breather. Kova for Bernardo if he does. Nico for Rodri ( this is q no brainer). Ake for Guehi,They knew they were going down do played for pride today. They can be dangerous. Anyway, a shit performance bit 3 points and showed them we need to be on it for all our remaining fixtures. Hopefully they got the message.
I didn't expect them to roll over. I expected us to play better. I think the poor selection played a part in our malaise, and that's on Pep. And some lackustre performances from individual players did too.The point is you don't see teams just rolling over even if staying up is virtually impossible, yet that's what many on here expected them to do.
Noocastle and West Ham to get results against them…pretty pleaseWe should have won by three or four tonight and that's how Pep set us up. A missed opportunity, he expects Arsenal to win their games, and wanted goal difference to be in our favour.

Surprised Nico didn’t start and NOR at left back, apart from Rayan we lacked creativity
Arsenal have won one in six but seemingly they will win all their remaining games?Know we won but that's a disgrace of a performance in front of goal. XG of 3.7. Arsenal have a couple of games where they could fill their boots. Huge chance missed tonight. Sorry, I know this will rile some up and all that, but most pissed off I have been with a win in ages.
Before the game, we were 1 behind on GD.On what basis does it feel like a bad result? We've just gone top for the first time in over 200 days when even a month ago nobody gave us a prayer of catching Arsenal.

Fam, I just have a different opinion. :)Top of the league.
Well done on always wanting to be right, even when you’re wrong.
My thoughts as well unfortunately. Before the game, we were 1 behind on GD.
This game looked like the best opportunity to score a few and get a bit of a lead on arsenal.
If (and yes it's a big if) both teams win every game to the end of the season, I think arsenal win it now on GD.
