Burnley (A) Post Match Thread

If the players retain the league, I will never doubt them or Pep ever again.

What they have done in the last few months (win 12 games in a row), despite all the pressure from the scousers results, the constant media attention hoping for us to slip up and from us fans high expectations, it is nothing short of a miracle, what they've achieved so far.

This team have played sublime football at times, have had to weather bad luck with injuries and played to win every game under intense mental pressure for virtually the whole season.

My hat comes off to this group of fantastic players!

Thought the 1st half was horrible but 2nd half brilliant. The way we came out flying in the 2nd half was brilliant and even I, who is normally nervous as hell, thought it was only a matter of time before we scored. I would have preferred if we had kept our foot down and got a 2nd, but I can understand the fear of losing the ball and allowing Burnley to counter-attack.

I think they and their fans will be better. Burnley looked as if they were more concerned with us not winning the league over actually getting a result themselves. Horrible bunch.

Sean Dyche won't be happy with those youngsters 'flippin the bird', foreign ways. They should turn round and see their peers doing it properly.
