They brought out the 69 FA Cup final winning team before the Burnley cup game. Didn’t go too badly!

Yeah get that,but sometimes these celebrations can detract from what we are focused on and opposition teams see it as spoiling the party ...

Missed the game with work unfortunately. Was it a good game? Noticed Sane got subbed very early.

First half was average at best, second we played pretty good without anything special. Bernardo and Walker very close to MoM. Sergio seemed to really want Golden boat to me based on some of the decisions he made to shoot compared to other games when he would pass. Think it was a nervous performance from everyone in general. But 3 points and only dodgy moment was a one on one Eddie smothered.

Dry pitch slowed the ball down and made us look really laboured.

Big win.

On that subject, it happens regularly at away games for diddy teams. I wonder if we train on unwatered pitches in the run up to these games. It did have a major impact on our normal game, loads of times it gave Burnley time to regroup.

Sky overall coverage pretty disgraceful. There’s a ‘We hope City fail’ mentality running through Sky and BT.

I don't think any of us had noticed to be honest.

In a parallel universe the scousers dropped 3 points 4 weeks ago, I still have all my hair (that isn't grey), I weigh more than an anorexic pigeon and I don't watch every City game through my fingers murmuring "oh ffs, oh ffs"
