Didn't see it (no stream) but pleased to hear the signs were much more encouraging. Sounds like young Torres did himself a big favour too.
And his languageHaving Laporte in the side automatically makes the defence play better.
Good team performance. Thought Palmer and Torres were involved a lot and did well.
Dyche was embarrassing with his constant moaning at our players and the ref.
Maybe, but doubt it after that Sterling showing. Leeds is probably the perfect game for him in the middle. Unless finally gives up project Riyad and start Torres-Delap-Raz with Bernie or Phil in the middleWhy didn’t Delap play then? He starting this weekend ?
mahrez and torres both played and created chances on the left with mendy playing higher up the pitch and making outside runs but on the right walker played deeper sitting in front of defence and hardly made any outside runs , so was difficultMahrez was driving me absolutely nuts dribbling down blind alleys and avoiding all physical confrontation
I think what annoys me a lot about him is that he’s actually a fantastic passer. He played a few gorgeous through balls and the back post cross to Torres was great. If he were more competitive we could probably even play him as an 8 from time to time but it would be suicide the way he tackles. Really wish he’d play with his head up more because if he focused more on getting 20 assists than 20 goals we’d score a lot more
From the BBC match report - so not necessarily correct but....Dad a Red so suspect he wasn't.
Born in Wythenshawe, boyhood City fan Palmer showed flashes of promise on his senior debut.
It's more likely to be "a great day at home" this year, if we get there obviously.League Cup final is great day out.
Ah, but wasn’t Rashfords old man a blue? So, if Rashford is the Wythenshaw Pele is Cole the Wythenshaw Messi?
