A very easy win - Burnley pretty much gave up on 5 minutes when the first goal went in.

And I actually got back from this game earlier than I typically back from the Etihad ... reminds me again how terrible the traffic is for our home matches.

I agree about control but why not put him in the midfield in that case where those skills are better used as Jack has no goal scoring threat and then move foden to the wide and move gundo to the false 9 so that he is a better finisher makes no sense to play him on the left

Playing outside is easier for Grealish at this moment in time.

he has to learn how to play the more difficult positions.

pep said this about Foden a season or so back.

Good day out. Great to get an early goal to settle us down after what happened at Palace and the result was never in doubt. Yes it should have been one or two more but energy conserved, job done and the start of a huge fortnight now. Good to see Raz continue his recent good form and with two assists.

Didn't get to watch us today because of home stuff, but heard it was pretty simple throughout and have seen the goals since. Both really classy moves and lovely finishes, almost identical. Good to see that turn of pace back in Sterling's game. Heard Ake cleared one off the line and played well overall but haven't seen enough of the game yet.

Was in a box today in line with the 18 yards Box at the City end.
On both goals a few Cith fans couldn’t contain themselves which caused agro and each time eventually marched out of the baying Burnley crowd.
Each time it took 2 or3 minutes for the security to boot them out
The Burnley fans really were knuckle draggers and were eventually arguing for 10 minutes with ground safety for standing up
They all have 6 fingers too

he is playing fine but is being played in the wrong position and we basically have no goal threat from a forward player
