I think Pep wants players in central midfield who move the ball on quickly. Grealish is better used on the left because he can receive the ball in tight spaces, retain possession and move with the ball without being easily tackled. He actually moves forward with it more than say Sterling or Mahrez. It's easier to receive the ball and pass it backwards. Grealish I feel doesn't get the credit he deserves.I agree about control but why not put him in the midfield in that case where those skills are better used as Jack has no goal scoring threat and then move foden to the wide and move gundo to the false 9 so that he is a better finisher makes no sense to play him on the left

You didn’t use northern rail I surmiseA very easy win - Burnley pretty much gave up on 5 minutes when the first goal went in.
And I actually got back from this game earlier than I typically back from the Etihad ... reminds me again how terrible the traffic is for our home matches.
