Burnley (A) | Post Match Thread

he is playing fine but is being played in the wrong position and we basically have no goal threat from a forward player
its the way we play as we have no striker though.weve done more than ok the last 2 years.hoping for better with alfs lad

Not been forced to listen to a game on the radio since I don't know when! Quite an odd experience, forgotten what it was like. Good win, pity we didn't score more as it sounded like we controlled the game. Need to keep on winning, really hope that in our next 4 games we knock the stuffing (and everything else) out of the pair of them.
Was waiting for Brian Clarke on Piccadilly Radio to say "Its a goal"

Same for me. Can't remember the last time I had to listen to City on the radio. Had to find a few jobs to do whilst listening, just to relieve the pressure. The early goal helped considerably whilst the 2nd made it a very pleasant afternoon. Must try it again sometime.

Heard a Burnley fan in the pub before the game say to his mate "all we need to do today is frustrate them and waste time"

Imagine if that was the extent of your ambitions for your team? Might as well pack it all in and find another interest!!

I thought we played well within ourselves and after the 1st goal went in after 5 mins they basically gave up.
They were poor but that's not our problem..we can only beat what's in front of us.
Thought Raz played really well as did Ake..the rest were decent too.
Nice easy win ..no injuries and we gave a few players a rest ..happy days
