Unthinkable but are we starting to see KDB career at City winding down ? Seems more and more injury prone - but I suppose if you look at players we have had to let go - Aguero Silva Zabaleta Kompany Gundogan Mahrez YaYa Tevez etc we still seem to produce top class replacements

Decent enough performance for a team that is never at full bore at this stage.

Managed the game well in the second half.

Haaland is just incredible. Rodri masterful.

Good to get off the mark with 3 points and 3 goals.

A brilliant result given we usually take a few weeks to get up to full speed.

Thought we controlled things really well, interesting that Eddie was even higher than usual as a means of making Burnley’s press weak.

Lovely to see big Erl back on the goal trail.

Good win, obviously not up to speed yet. Some decent performances. After watching kev in the charity shield I'm surprised he started him, could tell he wasn't fit.

Yes but in real time it looked like a desperate lunge for the ball by a young lad and I didn’t see any intent there

Yeah I don't think it was particularly malicious or anything like that but at the end of the day it's a high boot with your studs up and you caught his leg and if you misjudge the force of that, you can break people's legs and that's why they try to stamp that out of the game and give automatic red cards for it
